We’re roughly two weeks out from USFL season 2, and the social media teams have been working overtime.
Between the different highlights from training camp, fans have been greeted with a few special nuggests. The latest is one that will definitely peak the interest of most USFL fans.
Earlier today the Pittsburgh Maulers social team shared a story on Instagram showing Boogie Roberts signing sheets to be used for trading cards.
The moment we have all been waiting for! The USFL seems to be close to dropping their trading cards, something that Alt-Football enthusiasts have been waiting for since last year. Can't wait to get my hands on a @boogiethegoat8 autograph. pic.twitter.com/8tTNSOiNpd

This wasn’t the only post about USFL trading cards today either.

Interestingly enough, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen this. Near the end of season one a video was shared by Generals star Darius Victor showing him doing the same.
For those who like the @USFL, looks like there’s going to be USFL trading cards available in the fall. Another good sign that the league will [likely] be active in 2023.

The league just recently placed 2023 jerseys up for pre-sale on the USFL Shop. With the season nearing, we can only hope that more news comes out on the timeframe for these upcoming USFL trading cards.
Beyond these two clips from social, there isn’t much more known on the situation. In the past we’ve seen Topps partner with the AAF and the 2020 XFL, so we could see them open to giving spring football annother go.
