During the USFL’s 2022 season, Case Cookus was sensational. He stepped in for the injured Bryan Scott in week three, and put on a show. Cookus led the Stars to a 6-4 record, ultimately helping the team claim the North Division after a win in the semi-finals versus the New Jersey Generals.

In the Championship, Case was fantastic. He threw for over 200 yards and three touchdowns, dominating all night long. Unfortunately, he suffered a broken leg down the stretch. This gave Birmingham the momentum they needed, as the Stallions won the inaugural USFL Championship.

Despite this, Cookus showcased his impressive talents to the entire nation. Because of the USFL’s relationship with both FOX and NBC, Case saw national exposure throughout the season.
Now, Cookus joins the Los Angeles Rams as they look to make a playoff push. Interestingly enough, this isn’t the first time the Rams have looked at spring football. John Wolford, a quarterback for the Arizona Hotshots of the AAF, has been with the team for the past couple of years.
