As the USFL offseason continues, multiple teams are adding free agents to their rosters to prepare for the 2024 season. The New Jersey Generals just signed DE Jordan Lewis, while others have added offensive linemen.
Let’s take a look at who each team signed, and the experience they bring to their respective USFL organizations.
C Jakari Robinson | Houston Gamblers
The Houston Gamblers signed Center Jakari Robinson, bringing some depth to the position for the team ahead of the season.

Robinson played for Cincinnati, before transferring to Bowling Green. He most recently had a stint with the CFL's Calgary Stampeders, and now lands with the @USFLGamblers for the 2024 #USFL season.

Robinson spent his college years at the University of Cincinnati, before transferring to Bowling Green. In 2022, he made nine starts in 13 games, earning 2022 first-team PFF All-MAC honors. Robinson also had a stint with the CFL’s Calgary Stampeders this spring, and now joins the Houston Gamblers.
G Gray Davis | Birmingham Stallions
The Birmingham Stallions made their first official offseason signing of a free agent, bringing in Gray Davis to bolster the offensive line.

Davis played at Nevada, before moving to Colorado State for his final year of eligibility. He started all 12 games for the CSU Rams in 2022.
Birmingham is locking up offensive linemen at the moment, having re-signed OT Darius Harper just a few days ago.
T Sidney Wells | New Orleans Breakers
Offensive Tackle Sidney Wells has signed with the New Orleans Breakers, being added to their roster on the USFL’s website last night.

Wells was part of an outstanding offensive line at UAB. In 2022, he earned First Team All-Conference USA honors, starting in all 13 games for the school. Additionally, UAB’s line only allowed four sacks in 2020, which was the fourth best stat-line in the entire nation.
G Chance Lytle | Memphis Showboats
The Memphis Showboats have brought in G Chance Lytle, with GM Dave Razzano making another free agent move.

Lytle played for Duke and Colorado during his college career, making the most of his senior year at Duke. He started in all 13 games at both right and left guard, and was a 2022 Academic All-ACC selection.
T Phil Saleh | Michigan Panthers
The Michigan Panthers are staying busy this offseason, signing Phil Saleh ahead of the 2024 season.
The @USFLPanthers look to improve on their OL from 2023, and they've now signed OT Phil Saleh from Fordham.
Saleh, a '22 Coaches Poll 2nd team All-American (FCS) selection, went undrafted this Spring before signing with the CFL.

In 2022, Saleh started all eleven games at left tackle. He had an excellent campaign, earning All-America honors. He started four straight years at the school, getting better with each season.
T Austin Myers | Pittsburgh Maulers
The Pittsburgh Maulers made their first offseason free agent signing, bringing in tackle Austin Myers.
In addition, the following players have been signed:

Myers played for TCU, before transferring to Memphis for his final season. He earned 2022 Fourth-Team All-AAC Team honors with the team this past year, starting in all 12 games.
Final Thoughts
As the USFL offseason continues, expect plenty more moves to be made from all eight organizations. There are many two year contracts from 2022 which are expiring, so we’ll have to keep a close eye on those athletes as the months go by.
