The USFL Playoffs are nearly upon us, and at the moment there’s only one spot open in the south. This weekend The New Orleans Breakers will take on the Tampa Bay Bandits, which will give one of the teams the upper hand going into the final week.
With only three weeks left until the USFL shifts to Canton, we have some news on playoff weekend. The league has just announced that country legend Trace Adkins will perform a concert at the conclusion of game 1.

As it stands now, the New Jersey Generals will battle the Philadelphia Stars in the north for a chance to appear in the inaugural USFL Championship. In the south, the undefeated Birmingham Stallions are waiting to see if they’ll take on the Breakers or Bandits.
The USFL Playoffs kickoff Sunday, June 25th from Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, OH. The first game takes place at 3pm on FOX, with the conclusion hitting the field at 8pm on NBC. For fans in attendance, you’ll be able to score a free concert from Trace Adkins. For only $15, you’ll have access to two football games and the concert.
Either way, fans in Canton, OH now have something else to look forward to.
