Everyone should be well aware of the whole Antonio Brown situation in Tampa Bay with the Buccaneers, so we’re not even going to tackle that.
Needless to say, it seems we have some news to report in regards to Antonio Brown’s newly acquired free agent status.
After all of the events that transpired over the last week Brown joined the Full Send Podcast, in which he had one of the hosts read off a text that was allegedly sent from Tampa Bay Bandits head coach Todd Haley.
Antonio Brown just had @fullsendpodcast read an alleged text from Todd Haley asking Brown to come play for him in the USFL. Please respond to this tweet with the proper gif reaction.

The text is said to be Haley reaching out to AB letting him know he took a head coaching role in the USFL. Additionally, it’s reported that Haley was reaching out to Brown to see if he’d be interested in joining the Tampa Bay Bandits.
Regardless if this is even factual, if you’re curious if Antonio Brown will be in the USFL this spring; you won’t need to worry. Brown seemed to take offense at the offer, spouting numerous expletive’s that we’ll choose not to repeat here.
We’re not going to speculate if the text were real or not, there’s really no way to know unless it’s confirmed by Haley. Which, I’d say the likelihood is close to zero.
The USFL is set to have a player selection meeting Feb 22-23 in which all eight coaches will fill out their 38-man active rosters. We’ll keep you posted as more information comes out on the upcoming USFL season, so stay tuned for more.
