Rashard Davis, one of the USFL’s most electrifying wide receivers and specialists, has made it to the NFL. The former Tampa Bay Bandit now signs with the New York Jets on a one year deal.
WR/PR Rashard Davis, who won a National Championship at James Madison, a Super Bowl with the Eagles, and who led the USFL in return yardage, reached agreement with the NY Jets, per his agent @seanstellato.

Davis was one of the lone bright spots for Tampa this year. In a season full of disappointment and struggles, Rashard was consistent week in and week out.

He finished the season with 369 receiving yards, and two touchdowns. Considering the Bandits’ struggles with receivers in 2022, Rashard was a solid target for Jordan Ta’amu.

On top of that, he showcased his abilities to return the football. Davis posted almost 250 punt return yards in 2022. In week ten, he gave the Bandits life with a 74 yard touchdown against Birmingham.

Generally speaking, Davis balled out in the USFL. Because of his exceptional performances, he now gets to pursue his NFL dreams with the Jets.
