Tampa Bay Bandits DB Quenton Meeks Signs With New Orleans Saints

Quenton Meeks, a defensive back for the Tampa Bay Bandits, has signed with the NFL. After participating in a tryout yesterday, he now signs a contract with the New Orleans Saints heading into preseason.

Meeks was a solid defender for Tampa Bay this season, posting 47 tackles and an interception in 2022. Despite some of the Bandits’ struggles defensively, he was quite consistent week in and week out for the team.

In week three against the Houston Gamblers, Meeks had an exceptional day. He recorded an interception, alongside blocking a punt that turned out to be a key turning point in the affair.

Quenton has been with a couple of NFL teams in the past, including the Jacksonville Jaguars and Los Angeles Chargers. Due to his solid performances in the USFL, he now gets to pursue his NFL dreams with the New Orleans Saints.

Meeks is the 37th USFL player to be signed to an NFL team. You can stay up to date on all USFL to NFL signings with our official tracker.
