Folks, we have another USFL to NFL signing – and it’s a big one. Channing Stribling, DB for the Philadelphia Stars in the USFL, has signed with the Washington Commanders. This is the second DB to be signed by Washington, as DeJuan Neal (New Jersey) was signed earlier today.
The Washington Commanders signed the following free agents:
CB DeJuan Neal
CB Channing Stribling

The Washington Commanders released the following players:CB Nijuel Hill

Stribling was an absolute beast in the USFL this season. He led the league in interceptions (7), while racking up 16 tackles and being a lockdown corner all year long. His signing to an NFL squad certainly isn’t surprising, considering how impressive he was in 2022.

Channing spent time in AAF, XFL, and TSL over the past few years – and dominated the USFL when given the opportunity. It is excellent to see someone of his caliber get NFL recognition, further proving that these spring leagues have plenty of talent across the board.
