Today has been a busy day in the USFL. The latest piece of news comes from Ian Rapoport himself, reporting that Jeremiah Pharms (DT, Pittsburgh Maulers) has signed with the New England Patriots.

Pharms played quite well in the USFL this season. He finished 2022 with 31 total tackles, alongside two sacks. Despite the Maulers struggling to win ball games, Pharms was a solid player for Pittsburgh all year long.

This is just another example of why Spring Football matters. Pharms now has another opportunity to pursue his NFL dreams. Without the USFL, who knows if this would have happened.
