NJ Generals DB DeJuan Neal Signs With Washington Commanders

As expected, NFL teams are beginning to capitalize on the elite talent displayed in the USFL this past season. DeJuan Neal, a defensive back for the New Jersey Generals, has agreed to terms with the Washington Commanders.

DeJuan Neal battled injuries all year long, but when he was on the field, he performed quite well for Mike Riley’s Generals. Neal finished with sixteen tackles on the season.

Neal joins Christian Sam as the only two USFL players to be signed by NFL teams so far. But, plenty are earning workouts and tryouts with NFL organizations, so expect more news to arise soon. You can stay up to date on all the USFL players moving to the NFL with our official tracker.
