New Jersey Generals Re-Sign TE Woody Brandom For 2024

New Jersey Generals Re-Sign TE Woody Brandom For 2024

The New Jersey Generals continue their aggressive offseason hunt, signing players left and right. Tight End Woody Brandom has officially re-signed for the 2024 USFL season, completing the TE room that we saw in 2023.

During the 2023 season, Woody Brandom was primarily a blocking tight end. In the limited offensive reps that he saw, he played well. Brandom caught four passes for 50 yards, and also caught a clutch two-point conversion in week five against the Philadelphia Stars.

In 2022, Brandom posted 129 receiving yards for New Jersey, averaging 11.7 YPR. In addition, he also played for the Aviators in The Spring League during their 2021 season on FOX. There he racked up 91 yards on seven catches, including a touchdown.

GM Billy Devaney is bringing back a lot of the same pieces for New Jersey. With Woody Brandom re-signing, the team has now made 15 different signings since the USFL season ended.

New Jersey Generals Tracker:

Wednesday: TE Wes Saxton. Jr
Thursday: Five Signings (including RB Darius Victor)
Friday: Four Signings (including S Paris Ford)
Sunday: Two Signings
Wednesday: Two Signings (From The Rookie Draft)

It’s excellent to see the New Jersey Generals bringing back so many familiar faces. After a 3-7 record during the 2023 USFL season, the team has a lot of work to do to rebound in 2024.
