Daewood Davis has had quite the story so far. He began his collegiate career at Oregon, but didn’t see much playing time until his third year there. In 2019, Davis posted 89 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Once 2021 came around, Daewood transferred to Western Kentucky, which proved to be an excellent decision. He thrived in his new role, starting in all 14 games during the 2021 season. Daewood caught 43 passes for 762 yards, and eight touchdowns, dominating from start to finish.
However, Daewood Davis found a way to build upon that performance – compiling 872 receiving yards and seven touchdowns on 62 receptions in 2022. This earned him 2022 Conference USA Honorable Mention honors.
Things took quite the turn recently for Daewood. He had a preseason stint with the Miami Dolphins, but suffered an injury in the final game. It was such a scary moment at the time that the NFL decided to cancel the rest of the fourth quarter.
