Not surprisingly, the USFL’s MVP has already earned himself a tryout with an NFL team. KaVontae Turpin (WR, New Jersey Generals), who took the league by storm in 2022, will be trying out with the Dallas Cowboys.

Turpin had a phenomenal season in the USFL, leading the league in receiving yards with 540. He was also an elite returner, taking multiple punts to the house.

No doubt about it, KaVontae deserves an NFL opportunity, despite his smaller size. The electrifying plays he made in the USFL this year proved just that.

On top of that, Maurice Alexander (WR, Philadelphia Stars) will also try out with the Dallas Cowboys. Alexander was spectacular as a WR/KR this season, racking up well over 1,000 all purpose yards.

His speed, agility, and impressive hands make him into a threat at multiple positions. After displaying his unique athleticism in the USFL, now he has a chance to fulfill his NFL dreams.
