Houston Gamblers DT Domenique Davis Signs With Cincinnati Bengals

The Houston Gamblers produced plenty of defensive talent this season, and Domenique Davis is a prime example of just that. He was quite impressive in the USFL, and now signs a deal with the Cincinnati Bengals heading into training camp.

Davis was sensational for Kevin Sumlin’s defense. He finished the season with 54 total tackles, and four sacks. No matter who the opponent was, Domenique was making their lives miserable in the trenches.

While the Gamblers struggled to actually win games for most of the USFL’s season, Davis was consistent week in and week out. His presence on the defensive line was a sight that no opposing lineman wanted to see.

Houston’s defense featured some of the league’s most elite defenders. Chris Odom, Donald Payne, Will Likely, and others were All-USFL selections this year. Even with their presence, Davis made a name for himself on the Gamblers, posting sensational numbers in 2022.

He now has an opportunity to chase his NFL dreams with the Cincinnati Bengals, all thanks to his hard work and determination in the USFL.
