2022 has been a big year for the new USFL. Most of what we know about the new league came over the past couple months. We’ve learned about player/staff incentives, team names/logos, all eight head coaches, learned of the partnership with NBC, the simulcast and most recently watched the league hold their inaugural draft.
With the supplementary draft set for Thursday, there’s been one major item fans have been asking about; the full 2022 season schedule.
Then, last night, the USFL social media channels let everyone know that they would be dropping on Monday. The league kicked things off early, first revealing the full week 1 schedule; from there, each team had their own moment by announcing their own schedule on an hourly basis.
It was also announced that tickets would be going on sale at 7pm ET, which would also give fans the date and times of each of the matchups.
The USFL is doing their best to make sure that their product is affordable. Tickets will be $10 throughout the season, and will be good for every game held that day. Meaning, if you plan on attending one of the games on Sunday during opening weekend, you’ll have access to all three matchups.
USFL execs have stated that they want the USFL to be the most family friendly football organization, and they’re definitely living up to their promise. For the entire season, a two-parent family and up-to six children (under 15) can attend a game for only $20.
Looking at the schedule, we see that the USFL only plans on playing on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. There was speculation that we may see some games on Monday night, but those can be put to rest; at least for this year.
You can view the full USFL 2022 regular-season matchups below, along with links to purchase tickets to each game. At the moment, only the first two weeks show which games are to be played on each day. But, we’ve included the schedules from the social media drop and the dates, times and purchase links from Ticketmaster.
The USFL has since put out a press release that sheds some more light on the scheduling beyond week 2.
All regular-season team versus team matchups are listed below. Specific dates, start times, and location are set for Week 1 and Week 2. Starting in Week 3, games will be assigned specific dates and times on the Monday two-weeks prior (e.g., Week 3 specifics will be announced on Monday, April 18, Week 4 specifics on Monday, April 25, etc.).
