Another Birmingham Stallion is headed to the NFL: Osiris Mitchell. Mitchell was an explosive wide receiver in 2022, and now signs a one year deal with the Green Bay Packers.
Green Bay Packers are signing wide receiver Osiris Mitchell to a one-year contract Tuesday morning, according to a league source. Was previously with the Dallas Cowboys.

Osiris won the inaugural USFL Championship with the Stallions, being a major part of their success in 2022. He finished the year with 333 receiving yards, and three touchdowns. He actually scored the first TD of Birmingham’s season, making an incredible catch on a pass from Alex McGough.

Throughout the year, Mitchell made plays that not many other receivers in the league could. His athleticism was put on full display multiple times, creating opportunities for McGough and J’Mar Smith.

In the postseason, Mitchell continued to perform at a high level. Without a doubt, this NFL opportunity has been a long time coming. Due to his exceptional USFL resume, Mitchell now gets to pursue his NFL dreams with the Green Bay Packers.
