Birmingham Stallions OL Cohl Cabral Signs NFL Contract

Arizona Cardinals Sign Birmingham Stallions OL Cohl Cabral

The Birmingham Stallions have sent 16 players to the NFL. OL Cohl Cabral is headed to the Arizona Cardinals, following a successful season in the USFL.

Cohl Cabral joined the Stallions ahead of the 2023 season, as a free agent signing last September. He made an impact, starting in all ten regular season games for the team.

Birmingham featured one of the best offensive lines in the USFL, and Cabral was an integral piece to their success.

The NFL isn’t new territory for Cohl. He had a stint with the Minnesota Vikings in 2021, but was ultimately let go at the end of training camp. Cabral had a workout with the Cardinals last week, and now he’ll have a chance to continue his NFL journey with the team.

So far, the Birmingham Stallions have sent 16 players to the NFL, including:

QB Alex McGough (Green Bay)
RB CJ Marable (New England)
WR Austin Watkins (Cleveland)
WR Davion Davis (Arizona)
KR/WR Deon Cain (Philadelphia)
TE Jace Sternberger (Buffalo)
TE La’Michael Pettway (Indianapolis)
C Cole Schneider (Green Bay)
OL Matt Kaskey (Los Angeles Chargers)
K Brandon Aubrey (Dallas)
P Colby Wadman (Washington)
DT Khalil Davis (Houston)
CB Lorenzo Burns (Cleveland)
CB Nate Brooks (San Francisco)
DB Matt Hankins (Los Angeles Chargers)

Had it not been for the platform – and the national exposure – that the USFL provided him with, who knows if this opportunity would have come along.
