Up next for the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Roadrunners in the United States Football League (USFL) is 28-year-old Jordan Moore.
Moore, a 6-3, 225-pound linebacker out of Atlanta, Georgia, was selected by the Philadelphia Stars in the 29th round of the 2022 USFL Draft.
Prior to his time at UTSA, Moore spent two seasons at Texas Christian University (TCU) before transferring to Louisiana State University (LSU) for two years, graduating with a degree in sociology in July 2016.
As a graduate student for the Roadrunners, Moore was the team’s starting safety, appearing in 12 games with 49 total tackles (27 solo), three pass deflections, one quarterback hurry, one forced fumble and one interception.
After going undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft, Moore spent some time with both the Atlanta Falcons (2017) and Denver Broncos (2018), mostly on practice squads, before finding a new football home with Philadelphia in the USFL.
Bringing us to the 2022 season, where thus far for the Stars, Moore has 51 total tackles (31 solo), two sacks and one interception.
Fun facts: Moore played primarily as a running back (2013) and wide receiver (2014) during his time at TCU. He also ran track in hurdles and relays while a student-athlete at LSU — taking home All-America honors at the 2016 NCAA Outdoor Championships (eighth-place in the 110-meter hurdles).
